INTRODUCTION
This is an Astro-Analysis based on the exact time, date, and place of birth calculated on the details supplied.
It is not intended to predict a budding mega-star or a future world leader - the objective is to provide some insights into the psyche of Michael to give everyone concerned a better chance of understanding, and hopefully helping this special child through the difficult growing times that they will face.
The astrological Chart is a little like a jigsaw puzzle without the benefit of a picture to follow. Some pieces are easy to recognise and they fit together beautifully. Another batch might fit well - but seem unrelated to the first "batch". Several straggly bits probably seem to belong to another world altogether, but that is the human psyche. The depths are immeasurable with many, many forms, faces, and dimensions.
Any Astrological chart will have seemingly several contradictions - again - just like human nature and our psychological make-up. But these apparent differences are all shades, shapes, and forms of the full picture. These "contradictions" should be seen as a balancing factor, knocking some of the edges off our sharp corners or, sharpening up the "softness" in the areas defined.
It should also be recognised that all of us have our own very personal lessons to learn in this life and these lessons unfold throughout the span of our entire life on earth. The learning experiences will not be systematic - they will be random episodes and experiences. Some interpretations of this Chart will give a glimpse of these very personal lessons that are an obvious part of this little one's character. Others may be so private or subtle that the child "learns" all by itself. And then there will be further lessons that will not have emerged or even seem significant yet.
It is hoped that the brief explanations throughout this analysis will help to explain the meanings and terminology of basic Astrology to give as much understanding as possible.
The two most valuable things that we can give to any child are our unconditional love and our time.
CONTENTS
The following passages give a comprehensive summary of the character traits of this child and a brief description of each section explains the specifics. It has been kept simple deliberately because, as mentioned in the introduction, Astrology is a complex subject, and the intention is to clarify, not confuse.
Included are:
The Sun/Moon sign combination
The Ascendant, when the birth time is known
The Sun, Moon and planets in the Signs and, when the birth time is known, the Houses
The major aspects
The Balance of the Elements and Modalities
The strongest Signs, Houses and Planets
Nothing is quite like having a Chart done on a "one-to-one" basis, but this enormous electronic age has opened the way for anyone who is interested to have a closer look at this ancient science and benefit from its wisdom.
Planets in Signs and Houses
Sun in Pisces, Moon in Libra
The "SUN SIGN" is the one part of the Astrological Chart that most people know. It is the
inner core that drives and motivates us. It is our own
true light. When we read and discuss our Sun signs we can easily recognise bits that fit, and maybe,
question bits that do not seem to apply.
The contrast noted is often related to the power of the other luminary - the Moon.
The Moon is our instinctive response. It reflects our earliest conditioning. The Moon governs our
emotional responses, - our likes and dislikes
- our innate sensitivities. Often the Moon sign is related to the maternal influence, or perhaps, the
general home environment.
Both the Sun and the Moon are the two major players. When in a very different sign this does complicate
the projected personality. This can
be an essential but difficult learning curve that can be confusing for all concerned. Our Sun can try
so hard to shine only to feel over-shadowed
by a powerful, or competitive, Moon. Some of us will need to learn to accept and understand our emotional
conditioning and allow the Sun the
right to burst through, combining both strengths in a positive way.
This combination attempts to tie together both of these very significant forces and come up with
a sharper, more focused picture.
Some signs are very compatible - others compete.
Here we have a combination of Water and Air. This is an effervescent and bubbly mix that is a lot of
fun, a lot of soul and highly original. These
kids can intoxicate like champagne or shock you like an involuntary sneeze. These kids are imaginative,
expressive and compassionate. The
mind is quite mystical and can seem rather airy-fairy. Michael will be an idealist rather than a practical
realist, and will be theatrical and cryptic at
times. The intellect and the subconscious work together in mysterious ways much of the time. So although
Michael feels in tune with the world,
others may fail to grasp the logic. For this reason these kids can feel quite isolated, thinking that
no one really understands the profound thought
patterns that filter through. These kids think in pictures - vivid pictures, which can be difficult
to portray in words. They are tuned in to the past and
the future - above and below - life and death. This is a complex child who recognises abstract better
than concrete. Understandably, Michael can
feel misunderstood from time to time. But, the nature is gentle and kind. The aim is to do good works
and rid the world of all the bad.
Michael has the Sun in Pisces and the Moon in Libra - a graceful dolphin that is agile, adaptable and yet elusive. This is sugar and spice and all things nice. The nature is bound to be serene, sensitive and very perceptive. Michael will develop an uncanny knack of being able to read just where others are coming from. The understanding of human nature will be profound mainly because these kids are on a journey of self-understanding. It is through others that they come to terms with the depth of the person that is them, and this is a powerful part of the psyche. This wise little soul will be a valuable and sympathetic friend to many as life unfolds. Michael will be popular. The only thing to watch is that there can be a tendency to be too accommodating. This little one can bend over backwards to please - and this beautiful child does not need to do that.
Michael will be the eternal optimist, always looking on the bright side and always working hard to bring out the best in others. This refined child will dislike confrontation or a harsh atmosphere, so will try very hard to dispel any nastiness. When under pressure or hurt, Michael will wilt. The ability to use charm begins very early, and when this fails, it makes it confusing and difficult for Michael to cope. In many ways, these kids can be lazy; they tend to head for the easy way out, leaving it to others to cover the hard yards. The Pisces Sun often lacks physical energy and the Libra Moon simply prefers the good life. This can become a problem if not addressed.
Michael will be creative with a real eye for beauty, balance and the ethereal. This little soul is looking for a utopian world and will be drawn to the mystical and surreal symbolism that equates to these visions. In many ways, Michael will spend a lot of life looking back in order to understand the here and now rather than accept readily the grim realities of life in the raw.
Michael combines the Moon in Libra with a Gemini Ascendant.
This will make for a lively little person who will have many friends and a variety of interests. The interest might not last long, the friends might come and go at leisure, but charm and diplomacy makes sure that the door is never slammed shut. However, the capacity for hard work will not be strong if it involves drudgery or mundane chores. Michael will not be drawn to physical labour, or mucky jobs. The preference will be far more genteel and glamorous.
As an adult, Michael will probably love to travel, love to entertain, and will be happy with a full and exciting social life. The personality will be such that Michael will fit in with any company, with the ability to make anyone feel at ease. Michael is an extrovert - but a classy extrovert. There is also the suggestion that Michael will attract many influential friends throughout life too. There is a subtle manipulative side to the nature, giving a good judge of who is "useful" and who is not. The aim will be for the good life and the eye will be set firmly on how to achieve just that. Michael will have some big ideas and a sure lifestyle in sight.
The Libra Moon Mum is probably a romantic idealist, but one who feels as though life never quite comes up to the standard that is expected. Michael could well fill the gap for all the dreams that Mother dreamed and so become an adored and indulged child. There could be dissension in the family that needs to be dealt with from an early age. Michael could learn very early to play the role of the peacekeeper between parents or family members, and so quickly slip into the role of using charm and persuasion to establish normality. These kids often learn very early through experience to expect the best of everything.
Gemini Ascendant
The Ascendant is the exact degree in the zodiac, which was rising on the horizon at the time of birth.
The term Ascendant and Rising sign are
the same. Every 4 minutes the degree of the Ascendant changes. This is why it is so important to know
the exact time of birth. This is the
starting point of the astrological wheel and defines the signs on each house cusp in an anti-clockwise
direction.
The actual houses and their meanings are just as important as the signs on the cusp. The sign of
the Ascendant is as important as the Sun
sign, and its effects are often more obvious to other people. The Ascendant represents how the personality
appears to others. Each sign has
its own potential strengths, which should be developed, and weaknesses, which should be minimised through
understanding.
Michael may run into problems if the rising sign is quite different in nature from the Sun sign.
There will be conflict between an element of the
inner self and the projected image. So, if any recurring social problems do occur, it is necessary to
look within.
The Ascendant in the chart is very important. It indicates the ways in which we interact with the
world around us, the energies we put out, and
the energies we receive from others.
Aspects to the Ascendant indicate what kinds of interaction we experience with others, the impressions
we make on people, and the areas of
our life that most involve other people. Often these aspects tell us about ourselves.
Michael has the Ascendant or the Rising sign in Gemini. This is a bright sparkling personality - with
plenty of wit and a very expressive nature.
These kids love to be around people and have people around them. They are friendly, adaptable and good
conversationalists. Michael will have
quite special skills in all forms of communication. These kids are mentally alert. Whilst outwardly
there is the show of heaps of confidence this
often is not the case. These kids can actually be quite nervy and temperamental for seemingly little
reason. Bear this in mind, and try to see
beyond the surface of this entertaining child.
Michael will be happiest when doing new things. There will be real need to be involved with as many projects as possible. These kids just like being busy. But, like all kids, Michael will need plenty of rest. It can be a mission getting these kids to slow down, let alone stop! Story-time can be a good wind-down for them. But to keep from getting over-tired, Michael must be coaxed into having a nap and learning to switch off.
Gemini is the sign of the twins. The duality shows the personality as swinging from the friendly, fun-loving person to the moody temperamental person. One minute these kids will want to be the life and soul of the party and then the next minute will "switch off" completely. The attitudes will swing from hot and cold on opinions, ideas, and ideals without explanation. This is the hallmark of the Gemini personality. A Gemini Ascendant can outwit, out smart and out talk most people. Michael will be great at debate, and interesting with it. Often the Gemini character becomes a great collector of trivia and useless information. This can be the intellectual jack-of- all-trades, but extremely entertaining company to be with.
This very active person likes to get around. Michael will want to get out and meet new people. This child will want to taste as many different experiences as possible. Because they are so restless, Michael will find it difficult to stay in one place for any length of time. If these kids have to be confined, as in school, they begin to feel restless. It is hard for them to keep their mind focused for too long on any one subject. In general, they do not stay with one project for very long. They prefer activities that do not demand persistence. Michael wants to cover every single topic there is. However, with this quick mind, Michael can learn a lot despite a lack of persistence.
These kids like to chatter. In fact, they may have difficulty keeping quiet even when they are supposed to. Instead of just sitting back and passively listening, Michael will want to be actively engaged. Sometimes this takes the form of a writing ability or a fondness for books. Anything that keeps the mind going will be attractive. Sometimes Gemini rising indicates ability in such fields as journalism, editing, communications or the mass media. It can also be an indication of considerable ability with the hands - or, perhaps, the more technical, scientific or mathematical area.
One of the virtues of this sign is that this child will never really grow old. They will always look younger than they are, which may be a bother when they are young, but they are bound to appreciate this when they do get older. Even more important, Michael will always be open to new ideas and experiences. This person will never grow old mentally either. They will want to be up with the play and current trends.
It is highly likely that the home environment will be altogether too well organised for this child to cope with. They may feel that they could never measure up to the standards of perfection and the goals that the Mother figure sets. So, they probably will not even try. This could be why the Gemini Ascendant is such a good talker. They will prove themselves in the "theory" department. They could feel that their personal results in the practical side of things would leave a lot of room for dreaded criticism. So, they prove themselves by way of explanation rather than example. Michael may feel swamped in the area of the emotional and the sensitive too. These kids can feel totally inadequate. They can try to avoid "the emotional", as they do not deal with this sort of stuff all that well. This child will prefer to change the subject and talk some more - i.e., do more of what they do best.
The Ruling planet in this Chart for Michael is Mercury - the ruler of Gemini. Pay careful attention to this chatty and intelligent little planet, as this will be a very strong part of the personality. The House in which Mercury falls will be an indication of where these great communicative abilities will be utilised.
Sun in Pisces
The Sun in the Chart is our personal light. It is our vitality, our creativity, and our basic ego.
It is the Sun that provokes and promotes
emotional security. The Sun represents our individuality. Within the Sun sign is our reason for being,
our sense of pride, and our confidence.
This is the basis of the search for the real person within. The sign occupied by the Sun at birth describes
the nature of these basic drives and
patterns. It describes the desire to be important to the people that matter and the ability to be independent
and self-reliant. It will give us an
indication of the methods used to develop psychologically.
The House will describe the areas of life that will be important and play a major role in our lives.
It is here that we have the tools and the gifts to
use as they were intended. But we may have to learn some vital lessons before this happens.
Much more is revealed by the aspects to the Sun. Positive aspects (trines, conjunctions or sextiles)
are good indicators of self-reliance,
confidence and the ability to stand on one's own two feet. The difficult aspects (squares, oppositions,
and inconjunctions) will suggest
psychological problems which can have a profound effect on life. However, learning to deal with these
difficulties ultimately produces strength
and understanding of the self. The rewards of working through these problems are great. The efforts
will be productive. Sure, work is needed,
but it is worth the effort. However, whenever the planet, Saturn, brushes up against the Sun, it will
suppress and depress the energy of the most
exuberant Sun sign.
The Sun is the "self", the "life path", the "true" personality behind
all the facades and defences we all put up.
The child will start to grow into the Sun sign during adolescence which can be another reason why
these years can be so dramatic and
traumatic - this is just another set of growing pains that we all have to endure. The actual Sun sign
is often not fully developed until nearer 30
years of age, but the inner spirit will emerge and glimpses will be seen throughout the growing years.
Michael has the Sun in Pisces. The Pisces child is sensitive and idealistic. They are "tuned in"
to the environment and aware of everything
happening around them. They will pick up a bad atmosphere in an instant and literally "feel"
any bad vibes or bad feelings. This is the "dreamer"
of the Zodiac - creative, imaginative and often a bit mystical with many "friends" around
them that only they can see. But some discipline is
needed to keep these little dreamers on track. These kids need their space to collect their thoughts
but must be drawn back into the real world if
they go too far or for too long.
The Pisces child can be temperamental and emotional. In times of stress, they can close off completely. They are so very sensitive and very easily hurt but do need to be taught that a bit of reality is vital to their emotional well-being. These kids are usually rather shy and should not be forced into being what they are not. But make sure the shyness is not total insecurity and a total lack of confidence. Make these gentle kids feel good within and proud of just who they are. It is too easy for them to try too hard to please and so stifle their own personality. Try to make a big deal out of the natural generosity and kindness and help make Michael feel proud. The world needs these sensitive kids.
Michael will be kind, and loving but easily influenced by others and very easily led. There can be a difficulty being able to say, "No." These kids are often as fond of animals as they are of the human race. They just love to "care" and to "take care of", but these little people need lots of love and encouragement back as well. They may need to learn to accept the love and warmth that they are so fond of giving. The true Piscean character can slip into the role of the self-imposed martyr which would be a great waste of the sensitivity that is here.
These kids can be very artistic and creative with such a powerful imagination. It would be a shame not to nurture these talents which might not always be obvious. The Pisces child will seldom demand anything - even attention.
If there are lots of planets in the sign before or after Pisces (Aries or Aquarius), this little one will be a lot tougher and far more out-going.
Sun in Pisces, Sun in the Eleventh House
These kids with the Sun in Pisces in the 11th House are highly sensitive and eager to please. They badly need friends to bring out the confidence and the self-esteem. They will respond better to creative, sensitive types rather than the aggressive or boisterous. There is a well-developed sense of "self", and an inner knowledge of right and wrong, but this can be difficult to tap when young. As a child, Michael will seem to stand back, feeling that everyone else is much more clever, attractive and socially acceptable than Michael will ever be. The ambition is to be up there with the best, but this sensitive kid will take time to accept the poet within. So whilst timid and hesitant, Michael does have plans for the future.
This passive kid can win friends with ultimate ease and grace. They have original ideas, and the enthusiasm will be a force. They will have a natural ability to get others working together. Group activities will appeal - but Michael will like to have a special buddy that is there to boost the moral. As long as there is genuine support, the ideas will come tumbling out and motivate everyone. Without backup, this imaginative kid will sit on the fringes bursting to "stand up" but afraid to oblige. These kids need and seek approval and acceptance. They can put on a star act to cover their introversion when placed in an awkward situation, which adds further to the enigmatic persona. The character is strong, but it does need the nourishment of acknowledgement from the parents and peers to develop and grow. The confidence is not strong, but there is no way that these kids want to be overlooked completely and they will not allow this to happen.
This child will be idealistic. The intuition is powerful. The eye on the future is clear. In many ways these kids resent childhood, patiently waiting to grow up and find the true path that they know is there. As Michael gets older, there will be an understanding of the limits - of what is possible and what is not. These kids develop a natural ability to be able to recognise the boundaries and make realistic goals. The aims and the vision are in the same ballpark. Significant planning and visualisation will have been used to a far greater extent than what will be apparent. These kids can arrive at the most appropriate crossroad and make it look easier than it actually was for them. The objectives can seem illogical and odd, but Michael will feel the powerful guides making these important decisions. The hand of fate will be felt and trusted.
Friends and groups will always be an integral part of this person's life. The personal ambitions will seldom be selfish. This is a loyal and compassionate nature that wants to help those in need. They will give of themselves and what they have until it hurts. Notable achievements are likely to come from combined efforts. In adulthood these types will want recognition, but not for personal gratification. Michael will want something to look back on and say, "I was a part of that". The preference is to participate and help make the world a better place - not pursue greed or power. It is inner strength and knowledge that drives the emotions.
Moon in Libra
The Moon is our instinctive, emotional response. It is the innermost feelings and sensitivities that
stem from the subconscious. Our Moon will
always be our natural reaction when our defences are down. The Moon reflects our early conditioning,
our habits, and the automatic responses
that come from our early environment. Often all of this relates directly to the "Mother" figure.
It is perhaps the "child" in all of us.
In reading a child's chart, the Moon, in the house, the sign and the aspects, needs to be given special
understanding. These are the
indications on where Michael could need special attention very early, to cope with feelings of insecurity,
lack of confidence, or a low self-esteem. Recognising these needs, and working through them, will help
to produce a secure and confident adult.
The Moon often reflects the "Mother figure" in our lives, which is consequently why the
Moon figures so strongly in a child's chart. The
placement of the Moon often describes the relationship with the Mother, which is why the "Mother"
is mentioned in many areas of the Moon
explanations.
The Moon sign is the more noticeable personality trait in the formative years. We tend to "grow
into our Sun sign as we develop and become
the person we were meant to be. The Moon in the Chart signifies the unconscious attitudes and feelings
and whether or not we feel supported
and accepted. It is also the accumulated attitude reflected by our own past and the historical past.
The Moon will echo values and instincts that
are picked up from our early environmental experiences.
This luminary is the most important factor after the influences of the Sun and the Ascendant. It
describes how we express our emotions and
how well we deal with them. In some cases, the ever-important Sun can put up some defences against the
Moon. When very different, we can
struggle to assimilate our emotions and our reason. Like the other planets, the Moon has strong and
weak points in any sign, and we should
try to develop the strong points. If the Moon is in compatible company, we will express our emotions
very easily and we will be sensitive to
other people's needs and feelings. With competition, the Moon can mean that there can be difficulty
letting our feelings flow. The Moon and
the Ascendant can be of an awkward mix, making the projected personality, and how we actually feel inside,
quite different. But, this is all a
part of the character and we are well able to bind the differences and round off the disposition.
The Moon and the emotional problems it produces can sound negative but this is not so. This is a
beautiful and fundamental part of our
deepest psyche that we must all accept and use to its fullest advantage.
Michael has the Moon in peaceful Libra, so will have a "make love, not war" attitude. This
youngster will try to make life as beautiful and as
harmonious as possible. They will overlook people's faults in order to keep the peace. These kids are
warm, affectionate, and loving, but they do
tend to give in too often and can be naive. Michael will need to realise that not everyone is as nice
as they should be, so teach this child to be a
little more assertive - to learn to say "no" if that is how they feel. Or speak up if they
disagree.
These kids do not just enjoy company -- it is a vital need in them. They will break their neck to get to nursery school, and later to "big kids" school, so that they can be with all those other people. In fact, these kids have a lot of difficulty in coping alone. They will be bored and awkward, and not seem to be the usual bright, sunny natured child that they are. Michael will need another person to interact with. No amount of books, toys, or puzzles will compensate for a lack of company. And yet, these children do prefer a "best friend" rather than a group of friends. In a close knit group, the child with the Libra Moon will be settling the arguments, making sure that everyone is getting a fair deal, and making sure that everyone is happy, simply by doing what Michael will do so well - being the diplomatic mediator. These kids love this role, but they also like to "enjoy" the interaction of friendship too. The choice of play will be the more gentle activities rather than a whole lot of rough and tumble and sliding in the mud stuff. These kids are quite refined and from an early age, they like to "look nice".
Michael will love the activity and the verbal exchange within a group, but chatter tends to dry up a bit in the company of strangers. It can take a little longer for these kids to feel, with confidence, that they are accepted. They will probably want music lessons, dance lessons, art lessons - all those gentle outlets, but it can be a bit of a problem to motivate these kids to do "real" work. Again, it is the company they seek, rather than a passion to be brilliant.
Watch out for the charm when it comes to their share of the chores. Michael will wander off and forget to come back until the boring stuff has been done. Or will gladly pay a brother or a sister to do the mundane stuff. Often it is said "lazy Libra", and for good reason. These kids figure that if they rush, they may sweat, and that does not look good and does not feel that good. In a work situation, anyway. But, of course, they must learn to pitch in - life is not entirely social.
This child will be the true romantic. The charming manner is a great asset. Michael will use this charm to get out of any difficult or unpleasant situation in a diplomatic and clever way. Often a beautiful and winning smile will have done half of the persuading anyway.
Never give this child a choice of two things if you are in a hurry. They will not be able to make up their minds. Indecision is their major problem, along with a real fear of offending.
Moon in Libra, Moon in the Fifth House
The child with the Moon in Libra in the 5th House will express themselves through their feelings, and those feelings are strong and vigorous. These kids love to have fun. They like to entertain and they like to be entertained. They want to be in charge, rule the roost, and be on show. This is a total "people person" that thrives on company. Michael will enjoy stories, television, and computer games - in fact, anything that stretches the imagination. This child will become totally engrossed in anything that they do - they will "be there", one hundred per cent. They will "live" what they are experiencing. Especially of there is a buddy in tow to share with. But if these kids are not interested, they will switch off. Try to encourage using the imagination in a creative way. Mostly though, Michael needs to be noticed and made to feel very special. This is a magnanimous personality that needs to be heard and admired. If ignored, this child will become petulant and sulky and will probably head off towards company that does take notice of them. Michael will be affectionate and cuddly so will need to feel plenty of emotional and physical contact to feel whole. This charismatic and amiable kid wants to be involved and wants to interact.
This little one has few inner secrets. These kids will tell you exactly how they feel, and why. They want you to know. Later in life, in relationships, these people are the same. It is all or nothing. This is a romantic, but also an idealist. Michael will have very strong likes and dislikes and will never pretend for the sake of keeping the peace. The natural reaction is to put all the cards on the table and discuss all of the deepest feelings and issues. Being secretive is not a trait of this placement. This is an arbitrator with clever and diplomatic communication skills, so a "case" will always be presented in a dignified way. Michael will listen to alternative views and find the most agreeable answer. However, these kids can also be possessive and demanding. They can be officious and bossy. They know what they want and that is exactly what they expect to get. They can also seem to flit from one source of interest to another. As an adult, it can be rather difficult pinning Michael down. All options look good and this personality does have a powerful agenda. If an alternative better suits the cause, Michael will be very clever in moving camps to maximise opportunity - in the nicest possible way.
These children can take a few risks because they like a bit of excitement, but often do not stop to think through the consequences. They get carried away with the anticipation, the adrenaline rush, and can be quite reckless at times. Michael will be highly curious. As an adult, Michael could be a gambler. Joining sports groups or the like can utilise the competitive streak, initiate a sense of responsibility, and run off a bit of that mental energy as well.
Michael can be one of the social butterflies. These kids are entertaining but also creative and artistic with a touch of the dramatic. The aim is to look the best, be the best, and be recognised as the best. Michael can be easily flattered.
With maturity, there will be an affinity with younger children. These people will enjoy taking care of smaller ones and the younger children will always look up to and respect this person. In many ways, the 5th house Moon never grows old.
Mercury in Aries
The little planet Mercury is the mythical Messenger of the Gods. This planet is never far away
from the Sun, often falling in the same sign at
the time of birth, so it does tend to add emphasis to our Sun Sign. Even when Mercury is in the
sign before or after the Sun, this is always
considered a very personal planet.
Through Mercury, we learn all the basics in life. It indicates how we communicate, because
it is here where we begin to watch and copy the
rest of the family. This is the very beginning of questions and curiosity that fires up and fuels
the learning process. From that point, we move
on to recognising the senses, and so our personal tastes and style develops. We learn how to exchange
ideas and show how clever we are.
We start to question and analyse. We learn to reason and classify what we have absorbed and then
stretch for more information.
Mercury is our first experience of moving out into the world beyond the back yard, armed with all
that we have learned. Through this planet,
our flexibility and dexterity is revealed. This planet covers the intellectual stimuli but it
also has a say in how clever we are with our hands and
how well balanced we are physically.
Mercury is also associated with the nervous system. This is a busy little planet at the best
of times, and responsible for a big part of our
intrinsic character. When put under too much pressure, the nervous system buckles. Mercury
is indicative of our sense of humour, the body
language we exude, and our powers of expression. This is the planet of logic and reason. So,
Mercury is indeed a very important planet. It
might be tiny, but it is very potent.
With the chatty little planet Mercury in the sign of impatient Aries, this kid is likely to start talking
rather early in life and, once the art has been
mastered, will probably never stop. The speech is likely to be rapid-fire. There will be loads of questions,
but the difficulty will be staying put long
enough for a decent answer. There is just too much to do!
These children can be argumentative and they are good at it. It will be a rare occasion when Michael is stuck for an answer. The mind moves so quickly that even a totally irrelevant response will be preferred to none at all. This can be valuable in a debating team, but it can become tedious. Michael will be decisive and capable of grasping information quickly, but can also feign ignorance as a ploy to further discussion or provoke further animated discussion. The objective is simply to add interest to the matter in hand.
Quite a few lessons will be needed to train this child not to interrupt when others are talking. The sheer sense of urgency can be forsaken for acceptable manners. The intention is not to be rude. These kids just do not have the time to wait! There will also be a great knack of jumping to conclusions too, which can be infuriating.
Michael will tend to be impulsive with a quick temper but will probably not see or admit to it being a problem. Admitting defeat or being wrong is another difficulty. So, one good lesson that could be taught early on is to be able to admit defeat graciously.
This mercurial planet is said to have "winged feet" and this dextrous kid is agile and energetic, both physically and mentally. Michael will seem to have been born running and will never stop.
There is a very quick mind here and Michael will enjoy coming up with new ideas. This child is independent and likes to be original, but more importantly, will want to be first. Only one problem - these kids always like their own ideas best and will argue the toss if they feel that their flash of inspiration has been overlooked. However, this should be a clever child, with a great wit and the ability to dazzle in the area of communications.
Mercury in Aries, Mercury in the Eleventh House
Michael has Mercury in Aries in the 11th House, so will gravitate toward friends that provide stimulation and fun. The choice of company will always be based on interaction and learning - friends who are competitive and prepared to share ideas, ideals, and information. These children will prefer recreation that makes them think, like puzzles, word games, chess, or bridge. Michael will operate a whole lot better in a group than alone. These kids love being with other people. They are totally social and like to feel part of where the action is. However, at times, Michael can be a pure rebel. These kids are articulate and like to argue simply to extend debate and draw others out of their complacency. The persuasive powers to coerce others will be quite powerful and a weapon of which this child will be aware. This can make for a natural leader or a natural agitator. These kids often seem to glide through life without taking anything too seriously. They naturally seek the "easy way" and take it.
Michael will have a well-developed ego and will appear to have plenty of confidence. Being an optimist, things generally work out well for these types. And if things do bomb out, then Michael will simply adjust and carry on with the second plan of action - hardly missing a beat. The mind is receptive and versatile.
There will be an understated vanity that accompanies Mercury in this House of hopes, friends and aspirations. Whilst seeming to be unconcerned with reputation or 'appearances', Michael will like to look good. The subtle effort that is applied to achieve this will not be easily recognised. In many ways these kids are not quite "what you see is what you get". There is a steely determination and a stubbornness that is actually quite relentless. Michael does have a subtle agenda that is strictly personal.
Michael will want to join all sorts of sports groups, dance classes, gym activities, or clubs. The outside interests will be wide and varied. But much of this attraction is the need to meet as many people as possible and enjoy as many experiences as possible. And this will probably always be an important part of life for Michael. Much is learned through interacting and studying other people, and these kids are quite gifted in their ability to see the big picture and beyond.
The attitude can be impersonal and sometimes cool, but always friendly. This child will be comfortable in any sort of company, regardless of background, race, or creed. The attitude is totally non-judgmental. The objective is to use the clever brain to extend and project the mental abilities. There is little sentiment attached. However, the rigid views of the establishment or of convention will hold little interest for Michael. Any red-tape that appears prohibitive or favours unreasonable theories will be blown away with no conscience at all. This is a free spirit. Much of the thinking here can be a little unusual or off the beaten path.
Venus in Pisces
Venus is the planet of love. This tiny planet is responsible for the stirring of the soft and sensual
pleasures of nature. Venus opens the doors
of appreciation to beauty, harmony, creativity, and of course, love, and affection. Venus arouses and
stimulates our senses.
Venus is important because it shows how youngsters interact. It is where children learn to share
and give. Venus shows how Michael attracts
love and attention and also what and who Michael is attracted to. This planet will indicate whether
the basic nature is warm and affectionate or
whether there is some reserve attached.
Venus is also about our creature comforts and possessions - what we need in life to feel good. Venus
indicates our creativity and artistic
talents and the ability to appreciate beauty. Good, bad, or unusual taste will be seen through Venus.
The house that Venus is in indicates the area in which artistic talent is expressed. This is where
the expressions of sensual understanding will
be valid and utilised. It can also suggest where Michael may need special attention and nourishment,
in order to learn how to interact with
others.
For future reference, Venus in the signs, houses and aspects will be quite revealing about relationships
with the opposite sex and matters of
the heart.
With Venus, the planet of love and comfort, in the sensitive sign of Pisces, Michael will be a quiet,
almost mystical child. These children are drawn
to pretty colours and shapes - the clouds, the sky and the Moon will fascinate. The burning fire in
the hearth will conjure up all sorts of pictures for
Michael. The likes of the wind whistling and the rain falling will be music to this deep and sensitive
child. There will be a love of glossy books with
pretty pictures. Romantic and magical stories that appeal to the imagination will be a real source of
pleasure. The world of fantasy can be far
more exciting to this child than the real world. If this wonderful imagination is encouraged, it can
be very useful in creative, artistic work later, but if
this child slips into the world of fantasy to escape, then you should ask why. Coax Michael into sharing
those beautiful visions. This will be a most
unselfish child who will give all that they have materially or spiritually to anyone whom they think
is in need. But, Michael must also learn how to
accept the same in return. Often giving comes easily, but receiving can be a hard one to master.
Michael will be deeply sensitive, very compassionate, and very idealistic. There will never be any trouble establishing a relationship, but there will be a strong need to be loved and understood which can often result in disappointment. Equally, later in life, these children can attract a partner who is too dependent. This can often drain the precious personal vitality quite badly. Michael will tend to attract the underdog. The fine intuition and the strong compassion that Michael has will be easily recognised. The enormous capacity to "give" will be a strong signal. The 'weaker' soul will trust this and be drawn to the inner strength. Unfortunately, when under pressure, Michael will tend to suffer in silence, keeping personal problems close to the chest. Michael should be taught and encouraged to share problems.
Michael is likely to be quite psychic.
Venus in Pisces, Venus in the Tenth House
Michael has Venus in Pisces in the 10th House, so will definitely be ambitious and quite serious. These children will always seem to be very mature for their age. They are diligent and will work hard to get results, but they do need recognition for achievements. In fact, that recognition is often their greatest motivation. A lot of the effort will be to impress the powers that be, and if this vital recognition is not forthcoming, Michael will feel crushed.
Venus in this house does suggest a positive and strong relationship with the paternal role model. This influence will be constructive and warm and a very necessary part of the ultimate development. Through this important person, these children learn to see the world through optimistic eyes. They see the world as a place where they can live and enjoy themselves with confidence, rather than as a dreary battle that has to be overcome. But, to enjoy the benefits of this sort of attitude does depend a whole lot on the parental support during the important formative years. If this is missing, Michael could suffer very badly throughout childhood, and perhaps, life.
With maturity, Michael will probably be attracted to sophisticated entertainment - like the arts for example. The actual career could well involve working with people in a diplomatic or counselling-type capacity. Michael will probably be interested in the world at large rather than just the local environment. This child should definitely succeed and climb the social ladder with ease.
Friends and relationships will often be chosen with care. Michael will be amicable and friendly but will seldom become deeply involved unless it suits the agenda or the purpose. These kids want to be emotionally secure and independent. They are not easily flattered. When adolescence hits home, Michael will be fascinated with the changes and the thought of growing up and will relate well to the opposite sex. But these kids are attracted to similar-type people who have plans for the future. There will be few bad moves. Commitments will be entered using the head and the heart, and some clever intuition.
In adulthood, Michael will be looking for a life of luxury. Whilst there is enormous stamina and vitality, these kids can use up a lot of energy finding the easy way. They can move mountains in a quest for the lifestyle that they envisage. The nature is well defined and it is powerful, but it can be self-absorbed in a subtle way. Michael will learn how to win without compromising the natural charm and dignity - and that is the aim.
Venus in the 10th House often indicates a person with a good voice, who either speaks beautifully or perhaps has singing ability. The mode of expression will be descriptive and motivating. With maturity Michael should radiate confidence and a self-assured style.
Mars in Virgo
Mars is essentially the "I am" in us. It is the "I -me -and -mine" - the
basic, subjective ego. It is our energy, our initiative, and our drive. It is
our aggression, our temperament, and our passion. Mars is the physical side of our psyche. A
strong Mars makes for great sports people
because they will be competitive with a real desire to win. Later in life, Mars indicates our
sex drive.
This is a fiery little planet, so a strong Mars is a "fiery" little person who runs on
high octane - one who will never know when to stop. The "water
signs" can dilute this energy somewhat, or can perhaps drive the passion inward. The "fire"
will then not be so obvious. However, once we get
the hang of our Mars sign, it is an important part of us. It is the fuel on which we run.
These children with Mars in Virgo work everything out to the last detail. Michael is a perfectionist. Every action will be considered thoroughly and
every move will need to have some purpose. This is reflected in the way Michael will work, which
is carefully and systematically with great
attention to detail. These youngsters will take the time to do their "homework" before
they start a project. They like to have all the facts and all the
options at their fingertips. They can't be bothered wasting time or energy on anything foolish
and hate to leave anything half finished. This child
will respect tools, and will enjoy working with all the latest gadgets. There is the patience
and the willingness to take the time to master difficult
techniques.
Michael will not be particularly interested in physical team sports. Individual type activities like gymnastics or skating, will appeal more because these kids are more attuned to "thinking." They would enjoy the more intellectual "games."
As Michael grows up, a strong sense of responsibility will develop. These children dislike irresponsibility in others as well as in themselves. But try to encourage Michael not to be too critical of others. Encourage a tolerant outlook and acceptance that everyone does not share their perfectionist abilities. Doctors, surgeons, nurses, and social workers often have Mars placed here. There is much associated with this placement that involves helping people. Michael will need to feel needed but this can also be the classic workaholic later in life.
The adolescent years and the onset of puberty can disturb these youngsters. Michael might not like the physical changes and girls, particularly, can get caught up in weight obsession or something similar. These youngsters can be rather slow to warm to the opposite sex. A petty hate session with the kid next door could be the sign of a budding romance.
Mars in Virgo, Mars in the Fourth House
Michael has Mars in Virgo in the 4th House. This child will be strongly influenced by the maternal role model, who is probably strong and perhaps domineering. This can be out of sheer necessity or perhaps, simply by nature. There could be difficulty getting along with one of the parents. If this is apparent, it is very important that it is acknowledged and discussed openly. Any problems that exist should be understood and accepted, and a compromise found. There could be just a clash of personalities, perhaps very similar personalities, but if it is ignored, it can develop into a monster as time goes on. This parent will be very important to this child anyway. Michael will very much seek and need that approval. But, Michael will be influenced by this stimulus and will compete in a subtle way. A whole lot will be learned through observation and experiences that colour the formative years.
This placement of Mars shows a strong desire to be the person in charge in the home. This can be difficult because of the obvious age problem during childhood. One way to ease this situation is to encourage these youngsters to take time out as much as possible. Not as a punitive measure but as a time to relax and reflect and perhaps, discuss. This will minimise the conflicts with others. It will also make Michael feel more in control of the personal life, which is what this child will want. Being ignored or chastised will simply deepen the frustration.
As these children get older, they may have sudden, unexpected surges of anger that have no clear cause. This can be the result of events in their early childhood, when they felt angry but could not express it and let it go. Honest communication and communal interaction from a young age will help to eliminate this sort of problem. With maturity, Michael must learn to be very honest about feelings. That is the only way that this type of personality will be able to handle the psychological depths that they will confront.
Mars in the 4th House provides many valuable lessons. With maturity there is the ability to weigh up the options, learn from the past and make positive decisions or changes. Michael will be determined and has the ability to overcome most obstacles that life provides. This is a natural survivor.
As an adult, Michael will want to own land or property. This will be the source of a lot of pleasure - working towards and making an individual mark. It is also a way that Michael can take full control of life in general.
Jupiter in Virgo
Jupiter is a slower moving planet that stays in the same sign for about a year. Its sign has a direct
personal effect only when it is in close
aspect to the Ascendant or Midheaven, or forms a strong aspect with one of the personal planets. Jupiter
is the planet of expansion, growth,
and often, luck.
The house position of Jupiter relates to areas of life in which we will want to grow. It shows the
area in which we are likely to think positively and
optimistically. In a general sense, things work well for us in the house that Jupiter occupies. The
keyword for Jupiter is expansion. That can be
physically, mentally, or spiritually. Jupiter's position can relate to the expansion of assets relating
to financial freedom, or perhaps, even,
weight.
Jupiter in Virgo is very often a child who seems older than their years. Michael will be very realistic
and very responsible. But Michael can be too
timid. These kids tend to underestimate their own abilities and will sell themselves short. Give Michael
a few simple chores to do from an early
age. This little one will love being trusted with the responsibility. But make sure you heap on the
praise for a job well done. Michael will be waiting
for this and the beaming smile you get will be a big bonus. Being practical is fine, but there is a
need to learn to have a few dreams too. A little
idealism wouldn't hurt.
Michael will take work and responsibility very seriously. The sense of obligation is huge. If this child does neglect to do something they are supposed to do, they feel guilty. In fact, these kids often tend to feel guilty about indulging themselves in any way at all. They could feel it necessary to justify activities that are simple "fun" things. There is a great need for a bit of fun - these kids must learn to accept that this is OK. Michael does need to learn to be a child. So try to teach very early that fun is fine.
This cautious little intellectual will always expand the knowledge. This child will always strive to improve. But, Michael may need to learn not to be quite so dedicated.
Jupiter in Virgo, Jupiter in the Fourth House
Michael has Jupiter in Virgo in the Fourth House. This usually shows a childhood environment and home that is very constructive, perhaps privileged - but it can be unusual. The actual lineage could stretch back over distant countries and cultures, enriching the basic philosophies from a tender age. It often indicates that this child will receive emotional support from the parents and family. In general, the early life should provide a solid base, giving a great deal of self-confidence and assurance. In particular, one of the parents is likely to be very influential and encouraging. However, even if the family environment is less than perfect, Michael will take a whole lot of positives from experiences there. The original home will be a firm launching pad for adulthood.
Often, even if the family is not well-to-do, the home will be cosy, pleasant and hospitable. There will be little sign of hardship or disadvantage. A natural sense of looking on the positive side will give Michael an excellent grounding. This could also give Michael a lifelong taste for comfortable and congenial surroundings, perhaps always choosing to live in a home that is much larger than what is really needed. But, sharing with others will be a priority, with a natural instinct to extend a warm welcome to all and everyone. Often, when Jupiter falls in the 4th House, the outlook and the attitude will be spiritually motivated.
Jupiter in the 4th House can be too much of a good thing. Life can be so comfortable that Michael will not feel motivated to push the limits or even put in much effort. Everything simply comes too easily. If this is so, it can set a bad pattern for life. These kids can settle into "cruise mode" and stay there, not utilising abilities or taking advantage of opportunities to grow.
Michael may become very fond of collecting things - like "sets" of the latest fad. Consequently, all the accumulated clutter can end up impossible to deal with and become a burden rather than a pleasure. In adulthood, Michael may want to own a great deal of land as another form of "acquisition". Real estate transactions can be very successful, although speculation on a big scale is unlikely. These types will know the value of money too well and are too prudent to gamble or take a risk. They are naturally intuitive. Prosperity is often a matter of course later in life.
Saturn in Aquarius
There are always two sides of Saturn - what is, and what can be. Saturn stays in the same sign for
approximately two and a half years, so all of
the children born around the same time as Michael will show the same characteristics. Saturn in the
sign is therefore personal only when
forming one or more aspect(s) with the personal planets, the Ascendant, or the Midheaven.
Read these aspects thoroughly to be more aware of Saturn and what it has to teach this child.
Saturn is all about progress, but it is the slow and sure progress - nothing happens quickly with
this rather severe planet. This is where we learn
the art of survival. Saturn makes us stop, look, and listen and not go rushing in. This is where we
come up against brick walls, where we have to
review the lessons learned and modify the next move. Saturn makes us accept responsibility, accept a
challenge, and move forward. Saturn is
the reason behind many of our fears, our sense of guilt and our sense of failure, but, again, when we
beat these obstacles, we are so much
wiser and stronger.
The House in which Saturn falls signifies the areas where life can be tough. Nothing seems to come
easily, and yet the prospects are of
significance. This is the area where our fears will have to be addressed and where our confidence will
need to be lifted. Discipline and patience
will be badly needed here in order for us to gain control. It is where we must stop and think, but ultimately
we learn from Saturn - he is a great
teacher. Saturn is often related to the father figure, or the "authority" figure that influences
Michael. Difficult aspects with Saturn often indicate
problems in this area.
Saturn often sounds rather negative which is not accurate. Consider Saturn as a hurdle that is there
to be conquered - not as an obstacle to
fear.
Michael has the planet, Saturn, in the innovative sign of Aquarius. Both sign and planet are quite compatible,
so there will be strong powers of
concentration and a forward thinking approach to life. There could be quite a scientific bent and a
real understanding and fascination with the
more abstract subjects.
Michael will be influenced by friends whilst young, but with maturity, it will be politics and society that will be the big influence. These kids will be structured in their thinking and will develop a real need to improve systems to adjust to their own generation rather than accept the old theories that seem to be obsolete. They understand growth and the fact that nothing stays the same.
Michael will set firm goals with some serious and careful preparation. But, this child can be quite dogmatic. There can be a difficulty accepting the alternatives. The natural trait is to get totally drowned in personal theories and give no credit to anyone else.
There will be plenty of self-discipline and inner strength, not to mention stamina. Tolerance and understanding on a personal and sensitive level must be learned though. Michael will make friends so easily and earn respect as a natural fundamental. But these friends do find it hard to get too close. Uniqueness can make this little one a social loner if not encouraged early to loosen up and include the friends around them. It can be that the childhood home is unusual, the lifestyle a little different, maybe a place where Michael has to scramble to be heard. This early environment is crucial to this little one in learning how to express ideas easily and learning to adapt socially in a comfortable and relaxed way.
As a child there will be a good imagination and a sense of humour - try to encourage Michael to maintain this light part of the nature and not sacrifice all the personal warmth in the name of idealism.
Saturn in Aquarius, Saturn in the Ninth House
Michael has the planet Saturn in Aquarius in the Ninth House. This puts an outlook on life that is wary and conservative. These kids like the tried and true. They do not like to step out of their comfort zone unarmed. Careful planning will go into any projects or schemes. These kids can feel under pressure to perform, so they can become too cautious. There is a big fear of failing. But the major problem is that Saturn in Aquarius is tuned into a different wave-length. Rejecting this fact can cause so much frustration and anguish until the confidence to broaden the outlook has been mastered.
Michael is likely to have a great deal of respect for the parents, putting them up on a high pedestal. It is likely that these parents do set high standards, by which this child will feel fully obliged to live. Basic beliefs and ethics will be learned in the home, and this child will accept these philosophies. In fact, this child can appear to be quite smug and dogmatic with respect to these creeds and principles. Learning to be more tolerant and accepting of alternative views will help round off this character beautifully.
Michael will be a careful person who attains success by diligent preparation and hard work. These people will approach every problem in life by systematically looking for practical solutions. They are very structured. The one real worry with being so organised is that there can be a panic attack when faced with sudden or unexpected emergencies. The emotions can run wild, tempers can flare, and Michael can get quite confused. The approach can be too limited. Any little surprises in life can completely throw this child.
However, to use the flip side of Saturn, this person could easily become very well informed. Michael could amass a wide scope and range of philosophies based on that original, orthodox grounding. The ability to mix and match all the options can result in an extremely wise and cultured adult. But, it will take a lot of courage for this child to walk away from the established ideals that formed the basis of their upbringing. Turning Saturn around involves opening the heart and the soul and becoming exposed to new ideas and philosophies. Shaking off the dogmatic and perhaps narrow attitude is what Saturn wants Michael to do.
As life evolves, there will be times when the effects of Saturn will be felt. Michael can feel that the "best" is not enough. The whole fabric of life can seem to be falling apart. And no matter what Michael does, best intentions seem futile. However, by accepting that the heavenly teacher is actively putting a wrench in the works for a good reason, for a learning process, Michael will emerge wiser and aware that much has been learned.
Uranus in Aries
Uranus is a huge planet that has the reputation for causing all sorts of chaos. Uranus has a mind
of its own, racing around in space on its side
and with an orbit that is unpredictable. Uranus is very difficult to spot with the naked eye. Similarly,
the Uranian traits are quite difficult to 'spot'.
This 'cranky' planet brings change - unexpected, sudden and completely disruptive change. It can
be the source of disasters or miracles. The
function of Uranus is to disrupt our view of reality, and give us an alternative view beyond the known
and the visible. Uranus provides sudden
flashes of insight and creative genius, as well as practised eccentricity. Uranus has the ability to
shake up the comfort of the 'norm' and
catapult us into a rather scary future.
This planet stays in each sign for about 7 years so is considered one of the slow movers. The qualities
that stem from the sign that Uranus is
in will affect all of the children in the same era as Michael. As the slow moving planets move from
sign to sign, the differences will be subtle,
but they will loosely apply to the philosophy and the attitudes of the child concerned.
Uranus in the House is a whole lot more personal. This will be where Michael will display a uniqueness
of character. It will be where the
intuition is heightened, and the need to be 'different' will be apparent. It can be the area where Michael
is subjected to major changes and
disruptions over which there is no control. The issues that apply to the house that Uranus falls in
can involve a lifetime struggle to conquer and
understand.
Michael belongs to a generation with the planet Uranus in Aries, indicating a headstrong, impetuous
nature, for whom individual freedom is very
important. These children have their own inner light. They seem to march to the beat of a different
drum. 'Their way' is seldom in tune with rules or
guidelines imposed by outside authority. Teachers and those in authority can despair, as there will
be little respect for hierarchy or tradition.
Rules, to this child, have to make real sense before they are given any credence at all, and even then,
those rules are very likely to be modified.
Somehow, Michael will need to be trained to apply a little bit of discipline and 'fit in' now and again. These children will always fight for their freedom in every way, but a bit of compromise has to be learned as well. If Michael simply goes through childhood always calling the shots, it will be a lost and lonely path up ahead. This little one should have a clever mind, maybe with technical or electronic know-how, but even systems have 'rules'.
Uranus in the Eleventh House
11th House: School friends, acquaintances, and any interaction with groups outside of the family
environment. The developing of skills within
social and sports clubs where expanding and sharing ideas and ideals is the issue. This house includes
influential peer groups and help
received along the way, which includes Hopes and inspiration.
Michael has the unpredictable planet Uranus in the Eleventh House. This child will gravitate towards
very unconventional friends and groups. This
is a non-conformist with strong and powerful goals. These children will mix in very easily with any
types of people because they will be quite non-judgmental. Different cultures, minority groups - even
'social outcasts' - will attract Michael, who will strive to understand the differences. But these
children can be quite remote and cool. They will love company, and would never be considered a 'loner';
however, freedom is very important too.
Michael will not like to feel hemmed in or restricted in any way. But this is a very fair person who
will always go out in support of the underdog.
Michael can have quite an outrageous attitude and may try hard to shock the more conventional types. In many ways, this person can be quite traditional but will prefer to be seen as "different". Michael could join groups later in life simply to mix in with unusual types with unusual interests and then be happy to go home to a rather conventional home life. Perhaps the leaning could be towards people who are interested in astrology, astronomy, philosophy or, maybe, the scientific side of occult. The unpredictable influence of Uranus does suggest that interests, friends, and groups can change in an instant.
Life's goals and ambitions can change course in sudden and erratic ways. These children can have some difficulty in making up their mind and settling into a career. Even when this path has been established, unusual changes can occur. Michael could well set out in one direction and then change course on the spur of the moment. And so end up in a totally different area altogether. But a lot of ground will be covered, making for an interesting and enlightening life.
Neptune in the Fourth House
4th House: This House is about the early home environment, the "Mother" influence, and
the family. This is the House where traditions are set
and preserved. This is where basic development begins and where lifetime habits are formed. This House
is all about nurturing.
The child with Neptune in the 4th House will be very sensitive and easily hurt. Michael will be so finely
tuned into the environment that all the vibes
will be picked up. Often these kids will have very powerful intuition, and the "feelings"
that they sense will be hard to handle and difficult for a small
child to understand. The real meaning will be a bit muddled, so confusing, and ultimately, quite scary.
Michael can place an almost impossible burden on one of the parents by placing this parent on a pedestal so high that it is unrealistic. When expectations fail to deliver, Michael can feel as though the world has caved in. The Mother figure can go a long way in reassuring this little one to build up the much-needed confidence and accept that none of us is perfect - even a much beloved family member.
Neptune in the fourth house often suggests a great deal of insecurity in the home life. It can be indicative of an adopted child or someone who grows up in unusual circumstances. There can be a sense of uncertainty in the early years, which can be caused by something behind the scenes problems such as an alcohol or drug abuse in the home. This can be some sort of "hidden" problem - or a supposedly "hidden" problem. As an adult, Michael may continually look for the impossible - a place of perfect peace - a Utopia of sorts. Or, becoming attuned to loneliness, the choice can be to take a reclusive stance and completely withdraw.
Neptune in this house offers the challenge to establish inner security. As this child grows up, they will need to learn that the place of retreat that they yearn for is located within. The world is never going to be that perfect peaceful place that Michael is looking for. But, with warm and loving support, in making the childhood environment safe and secure, this little one will take this positive experience into adulthood. It will be their blueprint of Paradise.
Pluto in the Second House
2nd House: This House is about values and possessions. It is the "my things" attitude.
It is where nourishment is needed to feel confident and
secure. This House is about experiencing the sensual fundamentals in order to feel fulfilled and loved.
This House puts a real value on
tangible assets and it is where real fears are born with respect to deprivation. It is also where we
learn to provide for ourselves if we must. It is
where we discover our "comfort zone".
Michael has the powerful planet, Pluto, in the Second House so will have strong needs and plenty of
energy to work towards goals and assets.
When these kids want something, they want it bad and no one will stop them. Usually a possession will
be the aim.
As these children gets older, they will discover that money is very important - not simply as cold hard cash - but as a means to freedom. Michael may not be possessive, but the sense of "ownership" will be strong. This child will willingly share, but there will be no doubt as to who is the rightful owner. By "owning" lots of things, they can wield a bit of power. It is important that Michael has complete control over all possessions. Interference from others will not be tolerated.
The major problem can be that these possessions can end up "possessing" the person. Later, Michael can become too bogged down and restricted because of assets. It is important to learn quite early that security and control comes from within. And if these people want to be free to make choices in life, they have to measure up the real worth of all the excess baggage.
Later in life, Michael could be very resourceful in earning money. There will be a broad vision of what will work financially. Hunches can be very accurate. But, these people can also be tempted by a "bargain" that may cause them grief in the end and not be such a bargain at all. If it sounds too good to be true - then it probably is.
Planets in Aspect
EXPLANATION OF THE ASPECTS
An explanation of the Aspects: These are very important in any natal chart. It is when 2 or more planets "make connection" with each other. To be of significance, the "orb" or degree of this connection, must be relatively close. All the Aspects are of significance, but some are more powerful than are others. And, of course, they all have different meanings.
All of the aspects that are relevant are automatically listed in order of strength. Obviously, the higher the strength the more relevant and potent the aspect.
Conjunction: A powerful and dynamic aspect. This is when two or more planets are sitting right next to each other and they will either back each other up, or compete against each other. Being in the same sign and same house adds up to a lot of weight.
Trine: A distance of 120-degrees between any planet forms a "Trine". These planets will be in the same Element so they will blend well and flow. The Trine brings comfort, ease, and benefit with little effort.
Sextile: The distance between any planets involved in a "Sextile" is 60 degrees. This aspect brings the opportunity to be productive or creative. But the energy of the Sextile must be used - it will not just "happen" Both planets will fall in either Masculine or Feminine signs, so they are compatible.
Square: There will be a 90-degree separation between any planets involved in a "Square". Here is an indication of obstacles and stress that need to be worked through. The planets "square off" against each other but - these are personal learning curves of life. These are hurdles for us to jump but through them we learn and grow. The lessons from Squares tend to be subjective. These aspects will be in signs of the same quality.
Opposition: As the name suggests, any planets that form an "opposition" will be smack, bang opposite each other at 180-degrees apart. This is where one learns to compromise and give a little. The opposition usually involves other people. These lessons are quite objective. Being in polar opposite signs of the zodiac, these planets mirror each other.
Inconjunct also known as the Quincunx: This is considered a "minor" aspect but is about our personal growth and long-term development in the area of the personality. It shows us our limitations and how we can expand a little. The distance between the two celestial bodies here will be 150 degrees apart. Being relatively minor, the orb used is generally rather tight. This aspect would be almost exact to rate in this interpretation.
Moon opposite Uranus (Strength: 5.84)
The oppositions bring about awareness through compromise. Conflict within the opposition can involve
either internal or external issues.
With the emotional Moon opposed to the disruptive planet Uranus, Michael is likely to be very moody
and very stubborn. These kids like to think
for themselves. They prefer to do whatever they want, when they want. Uranus is not an emotional planet.
It is full of surprises and quite
impersonal, so this opposition drains a lot of the sensitivity from the Moon.
But, Michael may well feel that the relationship with the Mother figure is too remote, not providing the stability and warmth that is needed. It could be that the Mother figure has a career, or strong interests. Or she may not be a true maternal type, and this is what Michael picks up on from an early age. However, even with the most loving Mother, Michael will be fearfully independent and quite unique. So, accept that this is a hallmark of this aspect.
Lots of love and a warm environment will help to teach this little one to accept and project a warmer image. But too much of the over-emotional will send Michael heading for the hills. Michael will feel uncomfortable. Heap on the praise, smile indulgently at some of the eccentric things that this kid will do and they will get the sustenance they need.
And you will be proud of the inventiveness and the originality that will be uniquely Michael.
Mars conjunct Neptune (Strength: 5.60)
The conjunction adds emphasis to the power, the energy, and the vitality of the planets.
Michael has the energetic planet Mars in conjunction with the dreamy planet Neptune. These two planets
together are like chalk and cheese.
However, combined, they help to shape a quiet strength that can be deceptive.
These kids do not like to fight and argue. They prefer to make love - not war. They are capable of some bright ideas but will hesitate rather than make a fuss. For this reason, they can become discouraged too easily. Michael may not be especially shy, but will not be "pushy". The nature tends to be passive, needing a lot of encouragement and support from family and friends. However, Mars does energise Neptune and there will be a determined streak, but it may not be obvious.
This combination is deeply sensitive and Michael will be easily hurt. Neptune tunes into the environment beautifully, but Neptune can also be unreliable. Michael can "imagine" things and make mountains out of molehills. The imagination will be colourful making it easy to expand on the facts. Try to nurture the imagination as a creative tool, but train Michael very early to be truthful. These kids can be erratic. However, given all the necessary love and support, Michael should develop some of the expressive talents that go with this aspect.
Michael can develop a definite talent for leadership. The inner strength and the inner knowledge can be inspirational to others. There is a whole lot of sensitivity and the ability to "read" a situation. Often goals and energies are directed towards spiritual matters. Michael could sense a "calling" early in life, or develop some powerful psychic abilities that can be difficult to understand. These issues can become an integral part of the actual destiny for Michael as life unfolds. However, this can be a difficult area for a child to cope with. The powerful planet Mars will make a great job of emitting graphic pictures and images. Neptune can cast some strange shadows so be nearby if Michael does seem to be afraid or confused. Love and support are needed with this conjunction.
This aspect often suggests a restlessness that can be put down to procrastination. Michael may let too many passionate ideas pass as a result of "thinking" about them for too long or by expecting too much perhaps.
There will be an interest in humanity as a whole. And this child can certainly contribute a whole lot. Nevertheless, this can only happen if the child is made to feel totally secure and confident. This must start very early in life.
When puberty hits, Michael can receive a whole lot of mixed messages. The sexual urges will be deep and powerful and the temptations loud and clear. However, the understanding will be limited. The facts of life should be allowed to unfold gently and naturally. Michael can feel afraid and be confused by the big emotional swing. Relating to the opposite sex will present few problems, but when confronted with becoming personally involved with another person, Michael could feel under pressure and vulnerable.
Uranus sextile Midheaven (Strength: 4.00)
Sextiles bring chances and opportunity. Effort is needed to realise the full potential.
Michael has the planet Uranus sextile the Midheaven. Even from a young age, this child will be very
original, inventive, and strongly individual.
There could be a big interest in the 'high-tech' communications, or scientific fields - futuristic concepts
will attract strongly. Michael may choose a
career in this area. These children enjoy their own company out of real choice. This is not an anti-social
child, but freedom does figure highly on
the agenda. Michael will want to utilise time and energy in a personal way without restriction or opposition.
Other children might try to apply
pressure and cause distractions, making it difficult for this child to realise the strong goals in hand.
Hence - this determined child would prefer to
work at its own pace and in its own way.
Michael is likely to identify as being different from other kids, and will kind of like it that way. With this aspect, Michael will want to be independent and to find a lifestyle and career that compliments the need to be unique and free. The occult could be a source of interest later in life.
Michael will be capable of working with others as long as the goals are in the same league. The ability and the willingness will be there to work very hard for prolonged periods to achieve. However, the subject of interest must be a personal preference and the all-important 'freedom' must be an established part of the rules.
Sun trine Pluto (Strength: 3.93)
Trines bring ease, harmony, and success, which need little effort. They can help creativity.
These kids with the Sun in trine to Pluto are good at communicating. They find it easy to gain the confidence
of those around them. They have
extremely strong leadership qualities. These children radiate great warmth that is powerful. There will
be a charismatic air that will be quite
hypnotic.
Michael will enjoy doing new things, covering new ground, and trying anything that there is to try, because it helps the realms of understanding. These kids are keenly interested in knowing the mechanics of everything. They will poke and prod until they are satisfied and will never let a chance slip by. These kids have little sense of fear so will be seen to take a few chances. The quest for knowledge includes experiencing as much of life as is possible.
This young person's life may go through quite a few changes, but this will not bother them. Michael will badly want to grow intellectually and spiritually. These kids will want to understand themselves thoroughly. With maturity, they will have a sound knowledge of their potential.
This, actually, is the mark of the born healer. These people feel protected and are able to protect others with their gifts. They are able to influence the people around them in a very subtle way. This is all good stuff, but Michael should learn to understand the sheer power that is available here and learn how to cope with the possibilities. If this gift is not recognised and used as it should be, it could be so easy for Michael to simply use the power part. This would not only be a shame, but Michael will instinctively know that there is "a job to do".
Moon trine Midheaven (Strength: 3.84)
Trines bring ease, harmony, and success, which need little effort. Can help creativity.
With the emotional Moon in trine to the Midheaven, Michael is likely to be just a wee bit too possessive.
These kids become so attached
emotionally they can easily make friends and loved ones feel smothered. This will be a very caring and
loving person in relationships, especially
as they get older, but they may try to be overly protective and drive those they care about away. Try
to teach Michael to allow friends a bit of
space. A pet of some sort can fill the need to nurture and love and also show how important freedom
is. Let this child see that their friends will not
desert them.
Michael will enjoy history, especially family history, which will be proof of heritage and lineage. There could be a fascination with origins, like what country great-grandma came from and where the family name originated. Family heirlooms can be a source of attraction as are old photographs or scrap books. This is definitely a traditional child who will be more tuned in to old rather than the latest fad.
These kids need very much this sense of belonging, so owning a home later or a block of land will be of the utmost importance.
Michael will like to be surrounded by favourite toys and books that will never be thrown away. This aspect can also indicate a hoarder who collects stuff just for the sake of it. Possessions can clutter up life for Michael in more ways than one. The possessions can eventually control the person.
Michael does need to learn to feel content within. Possessions do not provide warmth, serenity and stability - being at peace does. The Mother figure will have a very important role to play here in showing Michael that the best things in life are free. And in many ways, freedom can be the best thing in life.
Venus opposite Jupiter (Strength: 2.97)
The oppositions bring about awareness through compromise. Conflict within the opposition can involve
either internal or external issues.
With the planet of love, Venus, in opposition to the big planet Jupiter, Michael will have a big heart,
a big appetite for life, and a great love of
pleasure. This aspect usually indicates a very popular little person. These children are so positive,
optimistic, and cheerful; they are such fun to be
around. Others will enjoy the high spirits and energy that this child sends out. But common sense can
be lacking at times. These children are quite
capable of taking a few chances because they simply do not know when to call a stop.
Michael could also be quite lazy and take the quickest option, rather than the best option, if something involves a bit of hard work. The easy way will tend to be the most popular choice, and if allowed to get away with it, Michael will be comfortable sitting back and letting everyone else perform the real toil. There will need to be a bit of a nudge from time to time, and a reminder that sharing the chores and the hard yards is the fair and square way of achieving. But this is only a tiny smudge on an otherwise irresistible character, who is capable of going a long way. Being taught some discipline guidelines and a little restraint will be valuable lessons.
This affectionate and charming child will be a great friend and a hearty ally, but being confined or restricted within a relationship will be fought to the max. This will be more obvious when love and romance enter the scene, when you may note that if the responsibility of 'commitment' comes in to the equation, there can be a very quick change of heart. Even as a young child, Michael will like to be in the thick of all the excitement, but will not like to be tied down or hemmed in.
Moon trine Ascendant (Strength: 2.54)
Trines bring ease, harmony, and success, which need little effort. Can help creativity.
Michael has the emotional Moon in trine to the Ascendant, which is a child who relates according to
the feelings. These kids wear their heart on
their sleeves to a large degree, so no one is in any doubt as to how they feel. This child is an open
book emotionally. Being very close to others is
important because Michael needs friends to talk to when a bit of a of a problem crops up. These kids
need to talk things through in order to
understand.
This fun loving child will love any sort of interaction and will always be a popular kid in any group. Michael is likely to gravitate towards similar people as friends who like to let it all "hang out" - friends who participate in deep and meaningful discussions. These kids have that confidence. They do not feel any need to try to be crowd pleasers for the sake of it. Michael will be quite warm and demonstrative.
The Mother or Mother figure is extremely important in this child's life. She will have more influence than anyone else will on the personal development. But Michael must have the opportunity to establish this good rapport, because without it, there will not be nearly so much confidence. In fact, deprivation can suggest that in adulthood, Michael will have a lot of difficulty forming relationships with the opposite sex. So, with basic warm and loving care, this can be a very contented and optimistic child. But, if these ingredients are missing, it can be a different ball game.
Moon square Pluto (Strength: 2.50)
The Squares are quite subjective. Squares bring challenges that must be worked through.
Michael has the Moon square Pluto. The moods and reactions are often so intense that these kids actually
do suffer a lot of inner stress. This is a
dark and deep aspect that can hint of childhood experiences that are quite horrible. These kids can
be exposed to hidden dangers that may never
see the light of day. This poor child can carry a huge burden making it is difficult for them to love
and to trust. Throughout life they will constantly
test relationships.
But whatever the reason, these kids expect rejection and hurt. When they are with people they like, they can be jealous, possessive, and quite controlling. This is for fear of losing that love and caring far too much. Michael will need to learn to accept that love does not evaporate that quickly. This could well relate to the family and probably the Mother figure. Michael may simply expect more than the "Mother" is able to give, or it could be that the relationship is not a very strong one. In growing up, Michael is likely to go through some very heavy times where the support of friends and family will be badly needed. These kids do not handle "change" all that well and yet their lives will probably have more radical and major changes than most. These difficult times will tug on the emotions in a big way. Michael could really suffer badly. But these are stages in this child's inner growth that will help them in their adult years. A sense of caring needs to be a backdrop for Michael to reach for and trust fully. Do not allow this child to feel abandoned or lost.
Eventually these kids will understand themselves well enough to deal with these deep feelings constructively. The growing pains Michael will experience will be quite difficult but that is what they are - growing pains, harsh as they may be.
Sun opposite Jupiter (Strength: 2.29)
The oppositions bring about awareness through compromise. Conflict within the opposition can involve
either internal or external issues.
Michael has the Sun opposing Jupiter which is a nice aspect. It expands the self-confidence and the
personality. However, these kids think they
are invincible. They have to learn to show a little caution because they can think that they are indestructible
and will take some quite crazy risks.
Often there is no understanding of defeat or fear in these kids at all. No mountain is too high, and
there is simply no finishing line.
This combination makes for sheer energy, so Michael will always be found in the thick of all the action. This will probably be the leader in any group activity. There should be a good sense of humour with the ability to see the best in most situations and most people. Michael will be a popular little person who is a lot of fun to be with.
There will be a need for freedom that others may find difficult to accept. These kids do not like to be hemmed in or tied down. They are likely to get bored with one set of friends and move on with little explanation. Michael can be a bit disruptive in school for the same reason. To liven things up a bit, these kids will draw on a very clever wit to challenge the teachers or simply distract the other kids. But this would always be done in a "fun" way, not in an offensive or aggressive way. It is just the way that Michael has of shutting down the routine for a while.
For the most part these kids enjoy all sorts of people. Fitting in with any company is easy because of a cheerful and good-natured attitude. The main danger is that these kids can be too opinionated as they develop. They learn how to lead and love every minute of it. They know that they can "hold the floor" with little effort. This can be seen as a little tiresome because the nature is quite "pushy". If Michael can learn to harness the ego, plan carefully and realistically, the chances are that any plans will work out very well indeed.
A word of warning - this aspect can lead to losses due to over speculations. Maybe a few lessons in the value money at a young age would be beneficial.
DOMINANT PLANET(S)
The prominence of the Planets and the contacts that they make with each other define the strongest Planet(s) in the Natal Chart. Some planets make a lot of "noise" which you will see in the area of the "Aspects" whilst some are just waiting for something to happen. The following are considered the Powerhouse Planets and their meetings and positions add a further dimension to the attitudes and aptitudes of Michael.
There can be more than one "strongest planet" in which case the person will have a natural ability to dance to many tunes - they will be adaptable and versatile. But if one planet or luminary comes through as the absolute leader, then the person will be very specifically made up of the flavour of that celestial body.
Moon Dominant (Strength: 15.81)
The Moon is actually a satellite of planet Earth, so this makes it a very powerful connection. The Moon waxes, wanes, and goes through many phases each month; the true Moon person expresses these phases as moods. The Moon has no light of its own. It absorbs the Sun's rays and bounces a shadowy beam. The true Moon person absorbs and reflects.
Michael will reflect the "Mother" image. The family bonds will be very strong and the nurturing nature will be sympathetic and very caring. These children will remember everything from their very earliest childhood, with their feelings and their sensitivities. The Moon can cast some beautiful images and some distorted shadows. Michael, with a predominant Moon influence, can be difficult to gauge. But these kids can also have quite a lot of difficulty understanding how the mind works. Consequently, the image that is projected is rather mysterious.
A predominant "Moon" chart has a rare sense of beauty and a deep sensitivity. Michael can also pick up the wrong end of the stick. This child can take a totally subjective stance and hang on to it, blindly refusing to admit that they are wrong. They will revert to their emotions, get moody and broody, and probably sulk, rather than reach for logic. The Moon to a large degree, is the base personality, our instinctive emotional response. The Moon is the part of us that others feel. The Moon is the vibration through which we feel. But this satellite of Earth is also highly intuitive. These kids must learn to trust their instincts because these instincts are very accurate. The Moon often indicates a psychic ability.
Michael will be emotional, will be easily hurt, and will be moody. But Michael will also be loving, loyal, and very genuine.
Uranus Dominant (Strength: 15.34)
Uranus is a huge planet that has the reputation for causing all sorts of chaos. Uranus has a mind
of its own; racing around in space on its side
and with an orbit that is unpredictable. Uranus is very difficult to spot with the naked eye. Similarly,
the Uranian traits are quite difficult to 'spot'.
The major function of Uranus could be described as the awakening, and the merging of the subconscious
and the conscious. This great
planet throws in some clever intuition that is often the deciding factor when we didn't even think we
were in a 'choice' situation. Subliminal
affirmations and answers flow from this area.
This 'cranky' planet brings change - unexpected, sudden, and completely disruptive change. It can
be the source of disasters or miracles. The
function of Uranus is to disrupt our view of reality, and give us an alternative view beyond the known
and the visible. Uranus provides sudden
flashes of insight and creative genius as well as practised eccentricity. Uranus has the ability to
shake up the comfort of the "norm" and
catapult us into a rather scary future.
This planet stays in each sign for about 7 years so is considered one of the slow movers. The House
where Uranus falls will indicate the area
of erratic and major changes in direction.
The huge planet Uranus is often referred to as the 'Awakener' because it is all about the unexpected,
the erratic, and revolutionary changes. This
planet gives us a wake-up call when we least expect it. Uranus shakes us out of our complacency. Uranus
is responsible for earthquakes,
eruptions, any natural disaster that you can name, but it can also claim fame for sudden miracles too.
Michael, with the influence of Uranus strong in the chart, will experience many changes. This little one will be forced to cover a lot of new ground. These children will have to adjust to momentous upheavals. Life will be full of surprises.
Michael will naturally gravitate towards new ideas, perhaps because life is erratic. These children will not have a lot of respect for the establishment, possibly for the same reason. This will be a very 'unique' individual. Michael will be quite hard to understand because the mind is tuned into the airwaves, the magnetic fields, 'tomorrow's world', rather than solid terra firma. There will be a certain magnetism that attracts others easily. These children can seem rather remote and cool because their nature is intellectual rather than sensitive, and yet they can be highly intuitive. The subconscious is strong. Michael will certainly care about others, but ambition will be for the whole of society rather than focusing sustained help on an individual.
Pluto Dominant (Strength: 13.47)
Pluto is a little planet that is all power. It moves through the heavens in its own way and at its own pace, paying little attention to anyone as it tracks its elusive course. But this little planet knows exactly where it is going. Pluto is all about regeneration. Pluto takes old ideas by the scruff of the neck and shakes them violently until they have no further use. It finds a vague beginning for a brand new concept. Pluto rules volcanoes and the Plutonian changes are often of volcanic magnitudes. This is a rather cold planet. It is difficult to define. It is difficult to follow and difficult to penetrate, but underneath this chill is a deep and burning passion. Michael with a powerful Pluto in the natal chart will be all of these things. These kids will be secretive and often silent. They will be clever. They will work their way through enormous changes in their lives, going through passages of darkness alone and coming out the other end a brand new person. The result can be a total transformation. Only they will truly understand where they have been. And this child will not be particularly interested in explaining anything to anyone. Michael will be very private, very deep, but totally fascinating.
These kids do seem to have a certain knowledge that they exude but do not express or openly share. Others "feel" the power of this little person. They will be passionate in all that they do and their anger will be, again, volcanic. These kids will not be violent in their daily lives. In fact, they will be slow to anger but their depth of feeling is immeasurable.
Michael will be strongly motivated, very determined, very stubborn, and probably quite ambitious. It will be a rare occasion that will make this child admit defeat. They will plot their own paths and follow them with sheer determination. Much of the path though life will be very private, but this is the preference of Pluto.
DOMINANT SIGN(S)
The Strongest sign often coincides with that of the Sun in the Natal Chart, because the planet Mercury is the Sun's closest companion - they are never far apart. The planet Venus can also stick quite closely to the mighty Sun. So, one or more of these planets are often in the same sign as the Sun at birth, adding further strength.
However, in many cases the "outer" planets can gang up and create a very strong, but quite a different, influence. This area of the Chart will either add more weight to the colour and personality of this Child or it could add a further hue to their approach and intensity.
If there is more than one "strongest sign", which is likely, the person will have various facets to their approach and abilities, and so will scatter their energies somewhat. If there is one singleton sign, which outweighs the rest, Michael will be more easily recognised by the attributes of the sign involved.
Aries Dominant (Strength: 103.74)
The sign of Aries features strongly in this chart. Aries the Ram is indeed the caricature of the Ram in the best of traditional head-butting ways. Unfortunately, there is only enough room for one Ram in any household for the atmosphere to ever verge on tranquil. Two or more will spend most of their lives competing fiercely to gain control, while the rest of the immediate environment will spend their time looking for a gap in the fence to escape. This little character will be boisterous, energetic, noisy, and impatient. The vocabulary will be full of "I, me & mine". Michael will want to leave no stone unturned in a quest to cover every inch of ground there is to cover. These kids will never give up and will never give in. But, interest in projects, hobbies and friends is often short lived. There is always something new and exciting to move on to. The Aries personality is essentially very warm, very loving, and very honest. These kids are enthusiastic, impulsive, and always buzzing about something. They are passionate in all that they feel and all that they do. They will have a strong competitive streak, but their eye will be on winning rather than just making up the numbers. Aries rules the head, which will be so obvious as you watch this little one rush headlong into another trail-blazing venture. They can also be susceptible to headaches and fevers. This fiery character simply "overheats".
Michael does show this strong Arian influence so there is the suggestion to instigate some steady discipline very early in life to use all of this powerful energy constructively.
Pisces Dominant (Strength: 83.94)
Pisces, the sign of the Fishes, figures strongly in this chart. There are so many types of fish - goldfish, tropical fish, deep sea fish, fresh-water fish and so on. And the Pisces person has so many facets to their personality that they are often called "dual". Generally, the true Piscean is gentle, peaceful, very sensitive, and truly compassionate. They are quiet and can seem withdrawn. They will often go off by themselves or to their bedrooms just for some peace and quiet. These kids will have a fantastic imagination, and that is where this little soul goes. They will burrow deep into the imagination where everything is beautiful, mystical, and serene. But these kids can also go where there are monsters and where the distortion of evil overwhelms them. So, the imagination is fine, taking time out is healthy, but escapism can be dangerous ground for this child.
Michael absorbs everything through the senses picking up bad vibes in an instant. These children feel any hostility as soon as they walk into a room - they don't need words. The Pisces person is always very sympathetic and will always listen to any tale of woe. Others will trust this sincerity and caring. Michael will be very adaptable but will dislike confrontation of any kind. This child will defend any friend who is in trouble but walk away from personal issues of hurt and disappointment. These kids can have a lot of difficulty making a decision. They will be easily distracted. This child will also hate to hurt anyone or say "no", so these kids can be quite easily led. This little child will be very sentimental, so they will count down their birthday each year and will be good at remembering everyone else's special day too.
Pisces is the most psychic sign of the zodiac but these "gifts" can be confusing for the young child. Michael will doubt the sensitivity and "go bush" rather than discuss what is happening. As they get older, this could well be a valuable tool to use. This little one will also have powerful dreams so will need to be able to talk about the scary ones. Michael will need the assurance that it was "just a dream".
Virgo Dominant (Strength: 82.48)
Virgo is one of the strongest signs in this Chart, so Michael will be quite prim and proper in many ways. These children will always strive for perfection in whatever they do. They will go to painstaking lengths to achieve the ultimate, which will seldom reach their expectations anyway. Michael will not only try to produce a flawless result, but they will need to understand the task in hand too. These children will dissect and analyse every bit of information and persist in their efforts to establish the full picture. Michael will probably toss a lot of 'whys' into general conversation. This child will not be shy in asking a whole lot of questions and will persist until thoroughly satisfied. They won't be aggressive in their pursuit of answers, but will hang in there until a satisfactory explanation has been found. The nature is tenacious and highly focused.
These children set very high standards for themselves, but also expect the same from others. In fact, their greatest problem is expecting nothing short of perfection. They are self-critical and will be quick to pick holes in personal efforts and the efforts of others. This can be quite hard for the rest of the family to take. Michael can be too meticulous and too critical, so will need to learn to relax a little. This child will be a worrier, who needs to learn to accept our less-than-perfect world, together with the rest of us less-than-perfect people.
These children are usually fairly quiet. They are serious and love to learn, especially through reading. This sign is usually very good with their hands. They can be very creative and will love to experiment with building toys and the likes. Dad's tools can be a source of fascination, but never be afraid to spend money on materials for creative expression. These children will take great care of their possessions and will also be very sensible in how apparatus is used. You will also find that Michael will seldom demand anything that is not totally necessary. In fact, you will probably get a long and involved discussion explaining exactly why a particular gadget is needed.
Often these children will be fussy eaters and can become too concerned with their health, diet, and just plain simple hygiene. The sign of Virgo leans heavily towards work, but it also shows a particular interest in health.
DOMINANT HOUSE(S)
The Houses in the Natal Chart are very significant because they indicate the areas where we have been born lucky or where we have serious work to do. The Houses define the areas in life where we expend our energies, where we find recurring issues with which we have to deal.
The basic Natal Chart is simply the blueprint of the Heavens at the exact time of our birth. But in reading a child's chart, there is a different emphasis. Obviously a child "reflects" its everyday environment during the formative years and this Natal chart for Michael acknowledges these reflections. In the case of a child, many of the attitudes and habits are reflections of the up bringing and environmental influences. Often work needs to be done to reach out for the opposite House to achieve a fuller picture.
Eleventh House Dominant (Strength: 115.03)
11th House: School, friends, acquaintances. Groups. Clubs. Influential peer groups. Hopes. Inspirations.
This child has a lot of Planets in the 11th House. The 11th House is about the kids at school, and groups,
such as play groups, girl guides, boy
scouts, sporting clubs - or maybe, dance classes. In general, it is about collective groups.
Michael will have a lot of friends from all walks of life. This child will thoroughly enjoy being a part of a group where they can share some of their many interests. Michael will enjoy being a part of organised activity. However, interests will not stand still because from an early age this is all part of the development. These children are likely to be full of enthusiasm for one interest, and then bounce off in a totally different direction, leaving their previous passion behind them. But they will have learned a lot and met a whole bunch of new people. Friends will be important to these children. But as they grow up and head into those adolescent years, they are likely to gravitate toward all "types" of people and get involved with some real "oddballs". Michael may well be attracted to the fringe-element type crowd. A part of this child with a heavy 11th house likes to be different. They like to buck the system. They like to challenge the establishment. They like to rebel.
But this child is people-orientated and will want to "speculate to accumulate" in the area of experiences. Often being part of a group is more important than forming real close relationships. This is quite an intellectual House. Exciting and stimulating subjects is the buzz that these kids crave. In reality, the "excitement" of being part of a group "thrills" as much as the topic in hand.
In many ways, this child does have to lean towards the opposite house, the 5th House. Try to get to know the people with whom they are involved. It would be good for Michael to form closer personal relationships, rather than just pay "membership fees" to be part of the crowd. It will help to make sure that the activities that Michael wants to participate in are of real interest. Or are they just another "joy-ride"? The danger with the emphasis on the 11th House is that Michael can spread the social bit too thinly and realise little of substance in anything.
Fourth House Dominant (Strength: 92.21)
4th House: The early home environment. The Mother influence. Early development.
Michael has a very strong 4th House influence. The 4th House is the early environment and the teachings
within the home. It pertains quite strongly
to the maternal influence. The 4th House is also indicative of new beginnings. Michael will be strongly
attached to the Mother figure, who will have
a powerful influence in the way this child thinks and behaves, providing the yardstick that this child
will use to run its own life later. A few
psychological tensions can be present. There is a real need for emotional security, even within a relatively
secure family atmosphere. These kids
will tend to suffer quite badly from low self-esteem and will seem to be a lot more emotional than the
rest of the family. It is likely that this child will
burst into tears very easily and will be rather clingy and moody. But, they will make their feelings
felt by throwing a sulk, or by storming off, rather
than by throwing a tantrum. Consequently, they often do not clear the air. They will let their hurts
linger for far too long because they will never
forget.
Generally, these kids will probably have a very good memory, which they can put to good use throughout life. Everything about the childhood will be carefully preserved and committed to this vast memory bank. These kids, more than any others, will have a deep and lasting attachment to their childhood and all the memories that go with it.
The 4th House is at the base or the foundation of the Chart so it is a powerful point in any chart. This little one will need to reach out to the opposite House, the 10th House to look beyond the home, in order to reach out beyond the parental influences. The 4th house dominant child can use what they have learned to become who they want to be in their own right. They need to learn to look outwardly and reach for the stars, rather than cling to the past forever.
Fifth House Dominant (Strength: 56.56)
5th House: Playing. Games. Creativity. Hobbies. Social life. Children.
This child has a crowded 5th House. The 5th house is leisure, fun, and sporting activities. It is all
about enthusiasm, creative energy, and self-expression - and later, love-affairs. This is the House
of learning to share talents, where we learn to entertain.
Michael will be sunny, happy, and very friendly and will probably have loads of friends. The social group (we hope) of planets in this house will suggest that it is very important that this little one does have a chance to develop their creativity. They need to be encouraged to have confidence in any ability in order to let real talents emerge. They need to be encouraged to be themselves and not become what they think is expected of them.
As they go through life, Michael will always be young at heart. But there will be a burning ambition to leave something of worth behind in this life. The aim will be to leave something for posterity. This child will feel robbed if they never have the chance to use their highly creative mind to its fullest ability. Probably, the "child" will always be alive and well in this person even when they venture into their adult years. This gives a real knack with children throughout life too. Michael will be able to communicate in such a way that is not patronising or condescending. These kids can do a lot of good "looking after" younger people. Michael will enjoy smaller children and "littlies" will just love Michael.
Help to guide this little one into reaching out to the opposite house, the 11th House, to learn how to work as part of a group. It will be good for Michael to learn to be less subjective and less passionate, to learn to get involved in a "sharing" capacity, rather than allowing the ego to rule.
Balance of Elements and Modalities
DOMINANT ELEMENT(S)
The four elements figure strongly in the definition and interpretation of the signs. The dominant element(s) can help to identify the personality type quite successfully. In many cases, there will be a combination of more than one, which indicates more flexibility.
It can be quite easy to spot the "fiery" personality, the "down to earth" type, the "head in the clouds" Air person, or the weepy and emotional water character.
Abundant Air
The Air signs are Gemini, Libra, and Aquarius. Air is considered quite intellectual, communicative,
and friendly. These kids will be logical and
will like to have a sense of freedom in all areas of life. Dominant Mercury or Uranus will add weight
to the predominance of Air in this chart.
Air children are very quick and mentally active. They like getting around the place, meeting new people,
seeing new places, and trying different
things. Michael will need constant activity, and constant stimulation, because there is a tendency to
get bored quite easily. These kids are
innovative. They like to stretch the imagination. They will make up new themes to old ideas, change
the rules to make the same old games
"different" - in fact they will be right into anything that is fresh and new. Michael will
enjoy study, usually like to read, and if all else fails, will just like
to talk. The strongest talent is the ability to think and reason clearly and objectively. These kids
do not let their emotions take control and distort the
thinking. And there is usually evidence of a good, strong sense of humour. An abundance of Air can be
rather out of touch with feelings and
emotions, because they simply do not think "emotional". This can bewilder them at times. These
kids can be out of touch with themselves so when
logic fails them, they simply do not understand.
It is so important that the parents of air children train them to express the feelings and emotions freely. Michael should be encouraged to explore the imagination. Air people are very good at communicating and are good at influencing others by putting forward a strong argument. A parent should be aware of this ability to sway people, because these kids are convincing and manipulative in a clever way.
The Air people are usually popular because they know how to play to the gallery and please the crowd. They are bound to be refreshing company. And they will certainly be rather entertaining.
Lack of Fire
When an element is "lacking", it can indicate a need to encourage the essentials of this
"lack", to help round the character off a little. This
often happens over time anyway, quite naturally. But watch Michael and you will see if any building
needs to be done.
But rather than see this as a "weakness", it is preferable to accept that one or more of
the other elements comes through more strongly. The
apparent "lack" can also be compensated within the chart anyway. It only needs one powerful
aspect to add some weight.
The Fire signs are Aries, Leo, and Sagittarius.
When the Fire element is lacking, it may benefit this child to become more active and more urgent. They
may lack the passion and spark that the
fire signs give. This does not mean that Michael will not enjoy life, but merely that there is a reluctance
to burst into action. Pleasure, thrills, and
glory will be slow coming their way because these kids cannot be bothered to make it happen. The sense
of adventure is apt to be more subtle
and sensitive, without the dramatics, daring and spontaneity. The lack of competitiveness will hold
this child back though.
Although this does not guarantee an introvert, this child is not likely to be an extrovert. Michael may like to stand back and let the other person make the first move. Maybe this child does underestimate abilities and self worth. But, Michael may just like to test the water before jumping in.
By underestimating their abilities, these kids are apt to often end up assisting others whose talents are less than their own. Michael can be easily overpowered. Actually, these kids do not like being in the spotlight.
In some cases, a child lacking fire in the chart may try to force many of the more aggressive fire sign traits in order to compensate for the actual lack of these traits. Characteristic of this would be a person who excels at a sport (perhaps) finding the ability to win through extreme hard work and dogged perseverance. The fire, in this case, is lacking but the "burning" comes from within.
DOMINANT MODES or QUALITIES
The "Modes" or the "Qualities" often indicate how we initiate our actions. The Cardinal types are firm, confident, and are better starters than they are finishers. The Fixed types are quite reluctant to step outside of the comfort zone. They prefer to stay with the tried and true. The Mutable people are flexible and adaptable but they can be flimsy.
But, again, in many cases there is a combination of more than one mode.
Abundant Mutable
The mutable signs are Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius, and Pisces. These are the signs of change, and
the essential mark is adaptability.
Michael will either try to find a way around a problem or will give way in the face of the attack. This
quality of mutability is not a weakness, because
although these kids do bend like a reed in the wind, they do manage to survive and persist. Michael
will believe in flowing with the energies of the
surrounding environment. These kids can adapt to the characteristics of the current company. Nevertheless,
these children have a core of inner
truth that enables them to make quite a subtle impact on those around them. By appearing to give way,
these kids can sometimes be quite
manipulative.
The mutable signs except Virgo are known as dual or two-bodied signs (meaning that they have two distinct sides). This reflects the mutable person's ability to have more than one facet. Michael will actually thrive in unstable and changing circumstances. These kids are able to grab what they need and adapt very quickly to new conditions. In fact, often boredom will set in if the situation is not constantly changing. With all of this adaptability, however, Michael can be rather devious at times. It is hard to pin these types down to a definite course of action or a commitment. They feel that such commitment limits the freedom. Not being forthright can be a major problem, except possibly with Sagittarius.
Given any kind of resistance at all, these kids simply change direction and take the line of least resistance, even if inappropriate.
Lack of Fixed
The Fixed modes are Taurus, Leo, Scorpio, and Aquarius.
Because this chart is void or nearly void of fixed signs, Michael could be better at starting things
than finishing them. Either these kids become
bored with something soon after beginning it, or they take on so much that they do not have the energy
or focus to accomplish anything. This can
cause lots of difficulty in various aspects of life, such as frequently changing interests, friends,
hobbies, and even personal beliefs on many of life's
weightier issues. Children with a lack of the fixed quality should be encouraged to persist and to realise
their own inner strength. They need to be
taught to hang on and not give up. Praise for completion of even the tiniest project will help to instil
a sense of success.
FINALE
As adults, we look back on our youth and say, "if only I knew then what I know now". How many of us also, as we get older, "discover" a talent that has never been recognised and say "if only". If this Chart report simply indicates a talent that can be nurtured early in life, as opposed to laying dormant for too long a time, or forever, then the author's objective has been reached.
