If you love a Virgo man you can be in for the most frustrating time if your natural inclination is to be free-spirited and unconcerned about the practical details of living. His mission in life is to think about how life can be lived more efficiently and effectively by piecing together its different strands so that the whole can work better than the sum of the constituent parts. So, for instance, if you propose to go back to College to improve your education or travel abroad to widen your experience, he might ask you to justify the time and expense by explaining the practical benefits of your plan. It might well be worth taking up this challenge. You might, after consideration, explain that you cannot detail the practical benefits but that you trust your hunches and believe the outcome will be beneficial. Or you might appreciate that the Virgo man you love has a healthy sense of realism and that some modification of your plans would enhance their value, or you might abandon them altogether. In the process you may have encouraged him to raise his sights beyond the earthbound to see some value in that which cannot be measured in purely practical terms. Once he is persuaded as to the value of your plans he will seek to serve you in their practical execution and he will be a great source of advice, but it may take a while for the support he gives to become heartfelt - if it ever does.
Never hesitate to ask your Virgo man for advice or assistance if you are doubtful about anything, for he delights in being helpful in a practical way and it will endear you to him. But always use your powers of discernment to assess the value of his advice, for as already indicated, he may not understand your plans if their practical usefulness is not immediately obvious. Virgo's eyes are focussed on Earth, not on the mystical beyond - and for this reason he may get excessively focussed on nagging difficulties which, if only he would look up and see the bigger picture, he would realise are insignificant.
If your man has a Virgo Moon or Ascendant, Virgo qualities are likely to be more obvious to you than if Virgo is his Sun sign. If he has the Moon or Ascendant in air signs such as Libra or Aquarius, then the characteristics of these signs may be more apparent to you than his Virgo Sun sign, at least until you get to know him.
